The Annual Meeting of the Chinese Medical Association on Respiratory Diseases 2020(the 21st National Academic Conference on Respiratory Diseases), organized by the Chinese Medical Association and the Respiratory Branch of the Chinese Medical Association, is scheduled to be held online and offline from October 23-25, 2020 in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.
At the CTS2020 conference, Professor Zhu Qiang of Beijing 301 Hospital gave a lecture on "Preliminary Research on Optical coherence Tomography for Lung Cancer Diagnosis". The respiratory tract optical coherence tomography (OCT) equipment used in the project was provided by Guangzhou Yongshida Medical Technology Co., LTD., which has been approved as the world's first registration certificate for respiratory tract OCT medical devices.
According to the clinical research results of 120 cases of lung cancer conducted by Professor Zhu Qiang's team in Beijing 301 Hospital, the normal tissue structure in OCT images of benign lesions was complete, and mucosal layer edema was observed. In malignant lesion OCT images, the normal structure of tissue was destroyed. The accuracy of lung squamous cell carcinoma was 93.7%, the specificity was 100%, and the positive predictive value was 100%. Accuracy 94.7%, specificity 100%, positive predictive value 100%; The accuracy was 93.9%, the specificity 93.7% and the positive predictive value 96.8%. All were higher than bronchoscope.
